Llachón is a strategically located rural community on the edge of Capachica Peninsula, North-East of Puno, on Lake Titicaca shores, facing Taquile, Amantani, Uros, Suasi islands and Chucuito peninsula. Nowadays, Llachón is a village living thanks to fishing, agriculture, breeding, handcraft and tourism. Its population maintains elegance through typical clothing, artistic expressions, customs and values. We will be able to share some activities proper to Llachón inhabitants’ habits. They will accommodate us in their houses while showing us their fishing and agriculture activities (we will be able to participate). They will also organize different walks around Llachón peninsula, beautiful with wonderful beaches on Lake Titicaca and pre-Hispanic places.
