Cajamarca, a city of colonial architecture with strong Spanish influence shows us how a religion was born in the half of the seventeenth century and the principles of the eighteenth century among other historical monuments which deserved to be called historical and cultural monuments of America by the Organization American States in 1986 and American Heritage by the UNESCO.
Other activities that show the contribution of Spanish culture is the livestock that we can appreciate in The Colpa, a beautiful place covered with pasture and eucalyptus plantations. Its fame comes from an old ceremony sui generis: "Call cows” in which the cows come in a disciplined manner instead of in flock while called by their name.
