Pachatusan means “support” or “sustainers” of the universe and is also the name of one of the Apus (guardian spirits) that surrounds the city of Cusco. Around this support of the world we can visit 3 important archaeological complexes: Tipón, Pikillaqta, and P´isaq. There is a strange coincidence between the distances which join these three villages. That is, the distance between Cusco and Pikillaqta, is 30km, the same as the distance between Cusco and P´isaq, and P´isaq and Pikillaqta. By joining these villages with a straight line, we discover a perfect equilateral triangle. This leads to multiple speculations in regards to the incredible architectural genius of the Incas.
